Terms of Service

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and Pept Research LLC ("Pept") regarding access to this website, use of its content, and any request or order for products or services.

By accessing the site, selecting the researcher acknowledgment, creating a cart, submitting information, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy, Research Use Disclaimer, Shipping Policy, Refund and Returns Policy, and Waiver Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

You represent that you are at least 21 years old, legally able to enter an agreement, and qualified to purchase and handle the products requested.

If you use the site for a business, laboratory, university, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to act for and bind that organization. You may not use the site if applicable law prohibits you from receiving the products.

Pept products are sold solely for laboratory, analytical, or research purposes. They are not for human or animal consumption and are not drugs, foods, supplements, cosmetics, household products, or medical devices.

Website content is provided for product identification and general information. It is not medical advice, dosing guidance, a treatment protocol, or a representation that any product is approved, safe, or effective for a clinical purpose.

You agree to comply with the Research Use Disclaimer and Waiver Agreement and to prevent unauthorized access, transfer, resale, relabeling, or use.

Subject to these Terms, Pept grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to access and use the site for lawful personal or internal business purposes related to evaluating research products.

You may not copy, scrape, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, frame, reverse engineer, interfere with, or create derivative works from the site or its content except where applicable law expressly permits it.

You agree to provide complete, current, and accurate contact, billing, shipping, qualification, and payment information. You are responsible for activity performed using your information and for maintaining the confidentiality of any account or checkout credentials.

Notify Pept promptly if you suspect unauthorized use, fraud, or an incorrect delivery address. Pept is not responsible for delays or losses caused by inaccurate information you provide.

Product names, concentrations, images, packaging, specifications, descriptions, availability, and prices may be corrected or changed without notice. Images are illustrative and display colors or packaging may vary.

Pept makes reasonable efforts to present accurate information, but typographical, pricing, inventory, and technical errors may occur. Pept may correct an error and cancel or modify an affected order, even after an acknowledgment has been sent.

Displayed prices are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Shipping, sales tax, and other applicable charges are calculated or disclosed during checkout. You are responsible for taxes and charges associated with your order except taxes imposed on Pept's income.

When enabled, payment options may include bank transfer through a third-party service such as Plaid, order-specific Zelle instructions, or card processing. Available methods may change and some methods may remain unavailable while implementation is in progress. Never send payment using instructions received outside Pept's official checkout or verified communications.

Payment providers may apply their own terms, privacy practices, eligibility rules, processing times, limits, reversals, and fees. A submitted payment does not require Pept to accept an order.

A cart, payment authorization, or automated confirmation is only an acknowledgment that a request was received. An order is accepted only when Pept confirms acceptance or ships the product.

Pept may request additional information, limit quantities, place an order on hold, or refuse or cancel an order for compliance concerns, suspected misuse, sanctions or destination restrictions, fraud risk, payment issues, inventory limitations, pricing errors, or any other lawful reason.

If Pept cancels an order after collecting payment, the amount due will be returned using the original method when practical, subject to payment-provider timing.

Shipping estimates are not guarantees. Carrier delays, weather, address errors, regulatory review, holidays, and events outside Pept's control may affect delivery. The Shipping Policy contains current processing and free-shipping thresholds.

You are responsible for providing a secure, deliverable address and promptly inspecting packages. Risk of loss and title pass as permitted by applicable law and the stated shipping terms. Report visible damage, loss, or an incorrect shipment within the period described in the Refund and Returns Policy.

Because research materials may be sensitive to storage, handling, and chain-of-custody conditions, returns and replacements are limited. Eligibility, reporting periods, required documentation, and exclusions are described in the Refund and Returns Policy.

Do not return a product without authorization. Unauthorized returns may be refused or destroyed and may not qualify for credit.

You are responsible for evaluating product hazards, reviewing available documentation, using appropriate facilities and personal protective equipment, and complying with all laws, regulations, institutional rules, and carrier restrictions.

You may not resell products for human or animal use, make medical or therapeutic claims, submit false qualification or payment information, evade order controls, interfere with site security, upload malicious code, violate another person's rights, or use the site or products for unlawful purposes.

The Pept name, logos, packaging, photography, site design, text, and other content are owned by or licensed to Pept and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Limited personal access to the site does not grant a license to reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit its content.

The Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, retained, and shared. The site uses essential browser storage for functions such as cart continuity and consent preferences. Optional analytics and performance tools load only after you allow them through the cookie notice.

The site may link to or rely on third-party hosting, analytics, payment, communications, and delivery services. Pept does not control every third-party service and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties not expressly stated in writing. Pept does not guarantee uninterrupted site access, research outcomes, regulatory suitability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, or compatibility with a research protocol.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pept will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of research, loss of profits, or damage arising from misuse or unauthorized use. Pept's aggregate liability relating to an order will not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions or limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pept and its owners, personnel, contractors, and service providers from third-party claims, liabilities, penalties, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, false statements, unlawful conduct, or misuse, transfer, storage, handling, or disposal of a product.

These Terms, the incorporated policies, and disputes arising from the website or an order are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Unless applicable law requires a different forum, the state and federal courts located in Sacramento County, California have exclusive jurisdiction, and you and Pept Research LLC consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

Pept is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including carrier disruption, severe weather, natural disaster, labor action, utility or network failure, government action, shortage, or emergency.

You may not assign your rights under these Terms without Pept's consent. Pept may assign its rights as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, or transfer of operations. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue.

These Terms and the incorporated policies are the entire agreement regarding the site and orders, except for a separate written agreement signed by Pept.

Pept may update these Terms by posting a revised version and effective date. Changes apply prospectively unless otherwise stated or required by law. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
